BT is offering to split the bill this Black Friday, with generous half-price discounts on both BT fibre broadband and BT TV deals. Here’s what’s up for grabs.
BT Fibre Essential has been reduced to just £14.49 per month for six months, down from £28.99 and comes with no upfront costs either. Fibre Essential is BT’s entry-level fibre plan, averaging a download speed of 35-36Mbps and offers great value. It comes on a 24-month contract and after six months the price returns to £28.99. This is a broadband-only deal but if you want you can choose to add a landline for an extra fiver a month.
With the first six months now reduced to just £14.99 per month, this is a great deal for BT’s Fibre 1 broadband-only package, which provides download speeds of 49-50Mbps and is ideal for gaming, streaming and downloading. BT has also scrapped the usual upfront cost of £29.99 to make it even better value. After six months the price returns to £29.99 for the remaining 18 months of the 24-month contract. This broadband-only deal keeps things simple, with no need to worry about the cost of calls, but if you want to add a phone line, you can for an extra £5 per month.
BT’s top fibre package, Fibre 2, comes with a download speed of 68-73Mbps and this Black Friday BT has reduced it to £16.99 per month for the first six months with no upfront costs, saving you an extra £29.99. The monthly price returns to £33.99 for the remaining 18 months of the 24-month contract, saving you over £100 overall. This is a broadband-only deal but you can choose to add a phone line for an extra fiver a month. Perfect for streaming in HD, browsing and gaming, BT Fibre 2 is ideal for busy family households.
