Amazing Black Friday deals with Virgin Mobile

As well as the Xbox offer, Virgin Mobile has a huge range of amazing Black Friday deals to choose from, with a free Nintendo Switch also up for grabs worth £250 with every purchase of the Oppo A54, a Super Bundle deal for Apple fans with the iPhone 14 Pro, as well as discounts on handsets and SIM-only deals. Here are the details.

  • Nintendo Switch – Enjoy some peace and quiet this Christmas courtesy of a Nintendo Switch. Worth £250 new, this is an amazing deal in the run up to Christmas. With hundreds of child-friendly games to choose from, the Nintendo Switch can also be played both on the go and at home on the TV with a docking station. Included with any purchase of an Oppo A54 on a 36-month contract for £19 per month.
  • Apple iPhone Super Bundle – Worth over £2000, this astonishing Black Friday deal from Virgin Mobile is likely to draw the attention of any serious Apple devotees. This aptly-named Super Bundle comes with the latest iPhone 14 Pro, an Apple Watch SE, Apple AirPods Pro and an iPad Air Wi-Fi all for £71.95 per month on a 36-month contract. Whether you keep them for yourself or surprise a loved one at Christmas, this is a deal not to be missed.
  • Smartphone discounts – If you’ve been holding off getting a new phone, now is the time to take another look. Virgin is currently offering the Samsung S22 from just £24.95 per month or the Samsung S22+ from just £27 per month. Apple fans can get the iPhone 13 for just £27.95 per month, saving £55.80 on Virgin’s usual price – a great offer if you’re in the market for an upgrade on your current handset, but are reluctant to splash out on the iPhone 14.

Which Virgin Mobile Black Friday deal is best?

Virgin is offering some seriously good bargains this November, but how to know which one to choose? In our opinion, the Xbox and Nintendo Switch deals offer amazing value for money and deal with a major Christmas present all in one go. The handsets that come with these offers aren’t the most exciting, but if you’re looking for an affordable new phone for yourself or one of the kids, then the Samsung A04s and the Oppo A54 are both ideal and, more importantly, at just £19 per month, won’t break the bank either.

However, if you or a family member is an Apple devotee, then the Super Bundle offers a fantastic opportunity. Worth over £2000 in total, this deal is one of the biggest we’ve ever seen. Not only do you get Apple’s latest handset – the iPhone 14 – but also an Apple Watch, an iPad Air and AirPods, all for just over £70 per month. It’s not a cheap option, but the monthly cost is not huge for such a haul of high-quality tech. Apple Christmas presents all round it is then.

All about Virgin Mobile

Virgin has recently merged with O2, and uses the network’s infrastructure to offer its mobile deals. O2 is one of the four mobile networks in the UK and offers superb coverage across the country, with over 99% 4G coverage in populated areas, and is slowly increasing its 5G coverage too, with over 200 towns and cities currently able to get 5G. You can see what O2 availability is like in your area by using the coverage checker.

As well as good network coverage, O2 is the only network to still offer free EU roaming. So if you are a regular traveller, you can stay connected with Virgin Mobile when travelling in Europe at no extra cost.

Virgin Mobile also comes with data rollover, which means that instead of losing your monthly allowance at the end of the month if you haven’t used it, you can roll it over into the next month to use when you want. Handy if you know you will be away from wifi for a lengthy period at some point.

If you’re not sure how much data you’re going to need, then there’s no need to worry, as Virgin Mobile offers the ultimate in flexibility and allows you to switch your data allowance up or down from month to month, so if you find you’re struggling with 4GB, for example, you can switch it up to unlimited. And then change it back again the following month – if you want. And, as a result of the O2 merger with Virgin Media, existing Virgin Media broadband customers can enjoy double data on any Virgin Mobile deal, offering even better value for money.
